Visits and Tours
Tours of the Firehouse & School Visits
Tours of the firehouse are available Monday – Friday from 9:30am to 12:00pm and 1:30 pm to 3:30pm. Weekend visits may be available upon request. Tours of the firehouse include a short film, a tour of the facility, dress up demonstration by a firefighter and a visit to the apparatus bay to see the vehicles. Please be aware that in the event that there is an active alarm during the tour, visitors must vacate the premises, so make sure there is transportation readily available.
Visits from the fire department to a school are also available. Visits to the school include a sort lesson in fire safety, review of the Fire Engine and dress up demonstration by a firefighter.
The Cary Fire Protection District is happy to participate, when available, to block parties. Block Parties must be within the district boundaries and be scheduled between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Cary Fire Protection District does not participate in Birthday parties or other private functions.
