The Board of Trustees is the corporate authority that governs the Cary Fire Protection District.  The Trustees are responsible for providing fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical services to the residents of the District.  The Trustees have the authority to supervise, control, regulate and manage the District and to make and enforce all necessary ordinances, rules and regulations for the proper management of business of the Board for carrying into effect the objects for which the District was formed.  The Board consists of five members who are elected by the residents of the District to six-year terms.
